Biking in Nova Scotia, Canada

Biking in Nova Scotia, Canada

Mom and George went on a honeymoon in Nova Scotia, where they went on lots of bike rides. Mom always loved going on bike rides, and she would always try to get us to go on “Family Bike Rides”. They were really fun, and when Mom got the chance to go to Nova Scotia to go bike riding, she jumped at the chance. Mom came back from her trip with lots of stories and lots of smiles.

This was our first real camping trip with Mom. This is the place where Soren fell into the lake, lost her socks, and had George get mad at her. It was a time full of memories, and we all had lots of fun there.

We slept in hammocks, and with Mom we slept in a giant orange tent, listening to her read stories.

Halloween

Halloween Halloween was always a fun holiday with Mom. Every time we went trick-or-treating, Mom would look around for the most creative costumes.

We would share what costumes we thought were the coolest, and there were lots of laughs. Also, Mom loved candy. We would get home, and Mom would ask for “tax”. Mom would pick and choose the candy she wanted from our candy bags, and then we would all eat the candy. We tried to eat as much as possible that first night, because 10 days later Mom would insist on throwing out the rest of the candy.

Snow

SnowMom always loved the snow. Whenever someone would ask her what her favorite season was, she would be torn between summer and winter; summer because of the nice weather, and winter because of skiing, sledding, and Christmas/Chanukah.

Mom also loved to go skiing. Every since we can remember, Mom was taking us skiing during winter vacation. And we never went to some low-quality ski place- we always went to a nice place with many lifts and slopes. Mom was teaching Soren and I how to ski from the moment there were boots small enough for our feet.
